The morning after the lions had killed the buffalo and calf spotted hyena had found the site. This was one of three hyena that were on the peripheral of the lion kill. They would normally have moved in and driven the lions off but they were not aware of the fact that seven of the lions were youngsters and only two were fully grown. 6.55am on 19th June 2007.
